TransYOUniting is a mutual aid non-profit, providing resources to Pittsburgh's Trans Community. Our organization is lead by Dena Stanley, a prominent social justice warrior amongst the Black Trans Community. We are Trans, Non-binary and Gender Expansive people working to better our community's lives here in Pittsburgh.

WHAT WE DO:

TransYOUniting center's black trans and gender expansive lives by providing a number of resources.

 

  • We offer Crisis Housing to Trans people who face homelessness or displacement from their homes.

  • We offer food assistance.

  • We partner with ProudHaven to create a space and community for LGBT*QIAP youth.

  • We connect trans people to resources with our numerous community partners.

WHO WE ARE

Short Term Shelter Opening in Oct 2021

Trans YOUniting and Proud Haven are collaborating to open Pittsburgh's FIRST short-term emergency shelter centered on TLGBQ youth and young adults aged 18 to 30 years old.

Haven House will be opening in October 2021 and will offer short-term emergency housing for trans, non-binary, and LGB communities.
